This is msbee1957 from Ms. Bee's Corner. I read your story about your dad and I am not for sure, but I think he was trying to tell you that he was thinking of you and that all was well between the two of you. You said he came to you when you were half and half ( not fully asleep, but not fully awake either. I call that "The In-Between". Your dad never would have come to you if he felt that you did not want a relationship with him. My dad could be a hard-ass sometimes to. I was 25 years old, lived in my own home, but we had a business together. I met a man on the job and was considering going out with him and my dad said to me "if you go out with him, you will no longer be my daughter". The man was bad news and my dad knew it. But, he was interfering in my life. He did that alot. It was because he loved me and only wanted what was best. So, I believe your dad loved you very much, but could not express it to you when he was alive. I think he tried to show you just how much he cared by being a wonderful grandfather to your son. Maybe he knew that things were unresolved between the both of you and he wanted to give you some peace and a gift from his heart. That is why you had the vision. Your dad was letting you know that he was happy, at peace and was sending you his love. And I just bet that he did not visit anyone else in your family.
